Climbing, walking, skiing and mountain biking throughout his life, Dave has passion for all the activities he leads, as well as extensive experience and certificated expertise. Dave holds the highest summer rock climbing and mountaineering qualification and loves passing on his enthusiasm to others around him.
At the age of five Dave skied down the final section of Hahnenkamm (the famous downhill race slope) in a Mach 10 snow plough, (wildly out of control, with a smile from ear to ear) and has been hooked on the outdoors ever since. Competing at a high level in motocross as a teenager. Dave came to climbing after getting injured in a bad motocross crash and now specialises in skiing, climbing, mountaineering and mountain biking. He can be found on the summit of a major Alpine peak one week and multi-pitch climbing in Snowdonia the next

Dave looks for solutions and not problems and particularly understands the review process. Although technically excellent in his disciplines, he also has a good grip on the management of sessions and courses and sees the ‘big picture’. Coupled with an above average ability in the soft skills department, Dave is one of the best workers I have employed in an outdoor learning career of twenty seven years.
Russ Scully, Project Coordinator
During this time Dave worked as a ski instructor and proved to be a most reliable member of the instructor team. David always sought to gain additional knowledge for the satisfaction of our clients. He was always cheerful and motivated and very well-liked by his colleagues and clients. I recommend him without hesitation.
