Previous Work and References

Bristol Climbing Centre and Undercover Rock – October 2005 to present

Dave plans and prepares his sessions well and has sound judgement around the crags.  His personal climbing skills are very good and he has thorough knowledge of British Rock Climbing.  He has strong teaching skills being a good communicator and has had excellent feedback from our clients.

Guy Jarvis, Chief Instructor.

Bristol City Council – June 2004 to present

Dave looks for solutions and not problems and particularly understands the review process. Although technically excellent in his disciplines, he also has a good grip on the management of sessions and courses and sees the ‘big picture’. Coupled with an above average ability in the soft skills department, Dave is one of the best workers I have employed in an outdoor learning career of twenty seven years.

Russ Scully, Project Coordinator

Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Saas-Fee (Winter 2006/07 and 2007/08)

During this time Dave worked as a ski instructor and proved to be a most reliable member of the instructor team. David always sought to gain additional knowledge for the satisfaction of our clients. He was always cheerful and motivated and very well-liked by his colleagues and clients. I recommend him without hesitation.

Christine Derivaz, School Director.

Skivolution, Courchevel, France – Winter 2005/2006
