Awesome Limestone Cliffs towering just outside the centre of Bristol. The gorge runs south to north through a limestone ridge 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of Bristol city centre, and about 3 miles (5 km) from the mouth of the river at Avonmouth. In the 18th century the gorge was quarried to produce building stone for the city. The steep walls of the gorge support some rare fauna and flora, including species unique to the gorge.

Dartmoor is an area of outstanding natural beauty covering 368 square miles in Devon. Steeped in history it has often been the subject of folklore. In climbing terms Dartmoor is famous for is granite tors that not only provide some class routes but access to terrific bouldering and the opportunity to practice the dark arts of jamming.

Cornwall's Granite cliffs make for fantastic climbing, in breathtaking scenery. One of the more chilled out places to climb, it is well worth the journey South.
