Learning to lead a route by taking the rope up with you as you climb and clipping it in is an important step in becoming an independent and competent climber. This course will teach you everything you need to know about leading a route – from the basics to more advanced skills.
A highly experienced rock climbing and mountaineering instructor will teach and guide you. Working with an instructor to client ratio of 1:2 to give you the best possible coaching, to get outside and leading routes of your choice with confidence.
For those who have climbed inside and want to lead outdoors we run a 5 day course but for those who have had some experience of outdoor climbing we offer a shortened 2 day course.
You can learn to Lead in 2 days but a follow up course is recommended to gain more experience if new to rock climbing.
