Rope skills and placing gear are crucial skills for trad climbing but are easily overlooked. Whether you’re a sport climber looking to make the transition to traditional climbing, or you want to brush up on your old skills and at the same time learn some new ones, this one day or two day course will be ideal.
The rope work and gear placement course is designed to make you a safer climber and give you the confidence to get on the rock. You will look at different way of placing gear, anchors and setup’s for the use in single pitch or multi-pitch situations.
The course runs with a maximum of 1:4 instructor to client ratio.
