BRECON BEACONS 10 PEAK CHALLENGE

This superb mountain challenge is based over the central section of the Brecon Beacons, a stunning range of mountains located in South Wales. The aim of the Brecon Beacons 10 Peak Challenge is to climb the named 10 peaks in under 24 hour, or over a two day period. We offer two versions of this mountain challenge – a 52 km and 32 km version, both of which take in 10 main peaks and other smaller summits. The 52 km version is also a full traverse of Brecon Beacons mountain range.

On this challenge, we offer groups transport around the challenge, accommodation and mountain guides as well as food options. Our accommodation is the YHA on the A470, which is convenient for both distance challenges. Other accommodation options are available on request.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

All of the guides were extremely supportive and had the groups best interest at the forefront of everything we did, they were also very knowledgeable about the mountains and what lay ahead of us. This is the first time we have used Dave but definitely not the last!

CC Projects

Highly recommended 🙂 Dave was a great guide, super fun and a good photographer too, capturing all the best bits of our expedition.

Ms A Challans

Just completed a 10 peak Brecon Beacons adventure with Dave and his team and had a great experience. Feeling it now, it’s was a great challenge and superbly organised! Would recommend, a very professional outfit.

What an epic day. Dave gave us an amazing day on Wintours leap. We covered more than I could have hoped. Dave understood exactly what our objectives of the day were, excellent value for money. Dave was the most professional, and clearly knew his stuff. I’d definitely look to Dave for guiding in the alps, Scotland, wales or elsewhere. Thanks Dave for an excellent day

Awesome adventure!! I went on the Mount Toubkal trek and cannot recommend it enough! Did 4 peaks in 2 days with Dave and the group. Him and Robyn Taught us how to use crampons and ice axes at the start and continually offered guidance where necessary. A great mix of a fun holiday and a challenging adventure!!

Dave is an excellent guide with a deep knowledge of the mountains. He not only helped us reach the 4 x 4000m peaks that we wanted, but did so whilst keeping a huge smile on everyone’s face. I would happily go on any of Dave’s trips again and would recommend him to anyone who is interested in a trip out to the Atlas mountains or any climbing excursion.

Thank you to all of you for putting on such a great well organised event. The Malvern trail half was a wild incredible adventure. All the organisers were brilliant and a special thank you to the man collecting the flags in , he really motivated us and made it a more enjoyable experience. Breathtaking views and a very emotional experience. The hardest and best half I have ever done. Thanks very highly recommend.

Dave’s our “guide for life”. He’s brought us up and down mount toubkal, we have plans for elbrus, he does local bristol climbing on the avon gorge, welsh 3000s, trail marathons. If you want to have steady fun, get hooked up with his group.

G Comeau

Dave and Robyn guided a group of us to four 4000+m peaks in the Atlas Mountains, including Toubkal – the highest in North Africa. They were always full of energy and continually kept the team motivated. You were never in doubt that they were fully prepared for all eventualities, using ropes when required and even having a foam roller for those of us with tight muscles!
On top of this, they were always teaching us important mountain skills, with demonstrations and giving everyone the chance to practice these skills in a safe and fun but relevant environment. Without a doubt my favorite adventure holiday of the year – i’m already looking to book another one with Dave in the New year!
