When everything else is wet Swanage usually is a dry as bone.  So after what seems like months of rain it cleared up just enough to squeeze some enthusiasm out of me to jump in the van and drive south for some Swanage rock climbing.  Although the rock was a little wet in places there are still routes that have not been climbed by myself and there not going to climb themselves are they? Headed down to Subluminal – Black Zawn East and cracked out the VS’s and HVS’s and i had a quick top rope on Magic Mountain E4 6a which although still wet as good but hard i think maybe F7a as a head point grade that i will go back, for sure it would be a good on-sight effort. The best bit of the day really was chilling out in the sun, catching some rays and kicking back swapping some stories. I started filming a small Swanage video so  will keep you posted but for now have a look at this lovely photo.  If you haven’t experienced the Swanage grip then get in touch and find out what its really like there.
