Bristol to Swansea cycle. This route connects two great cities, one in England and the other in Wales. There are many highlights from leaving Bristol and crossing the Severn Bridge, to the quiet country roads of Monmouthshire, arriving in Caerphilly and its spectacular castle. The railway paths of the valleys that connect you down to the coast roads and onto Swansea before taking the train back to Bristol. 

On this trip there’s plenty of traffic free cycle paths, quiet country lanes and sections of gravel and easy off road paths. The route is fairly complex with many twists and turns, this isn’t a flat out road ride, rather an exciting adventurous journey. 

The route is suitable for a gravel bike or a road bike with strong wheels, thicker tyres. It isn’t suitable for high end road bikes due to the sections on gravel paths with rocks and stones.

• Bike Leader / Guide – This is a leader lead trip, so you can enjoy the route and the views. 
• Support Vehicle – You’ll have a support vehicle and driver. 
• Luggage Transfer – Your luggage will be transferred from Bristol to the hotel and back to Bristol at the end of the trip. 
• Hotel – You’ll stay in Caerphilly on night one. Accommodation is based on twin room sharing and breakfast is included. 
• Lunches – Buffet lunches will be provided on the two cycling days. 
• Train – Return train back to Bristol
• Bike Transfer – Your bike will be transferred back to Bristol from Swansea.
