Working hard, playing hard. More time in the office, less time at the crag, never mind – i am off Thailand on Monday and i am looking forward to a break and a change. I’ve never spent a year sat in front of the computer and now i know what it’s like – so all you office types who work full time in the 9- 5 computer world – I totally understand, lets go climbing at the weekend its a great stress reliever!!
Today i was back with the Chandos guys after a morning team building on Monday, building trust and leadership skills. Today was a chance to go back with the guys for the second time and progress by doing an abseil in Avon Gorge. Abseiling is a big test of nerves, trust, support and there are many ways of using the team to help build an environment in which the guys feel able to push there limits. Today was superb!! Everyone really pushed there limits and was tested by an abseil in Avon Gorge, the results were amazing to see with people in rehab pushing their limits with new challenges and helping each other to achieve. Well done boys.
