One the weekend just gone the Red Bull cliff diving world series came to Wales and popped itself over to Pembroke. Myself and a few good fellows thought we might as well get on down there and see what all the fuss was about.
It was clear that these man were very brave, to jump off this 28 meter platform, sometimes backwards, while doing a hand stand, somersaulting through the air was quite a sight, especially when we had front row seats in our kayaks. A Brit, a man, a Gary won the event this year and bloody hell hats off to the lad – well done Gary we are all very impressed. The weather worked out a treat and red bull even put two mad men in planes to try and crash into each other, although they seemed to just miss each other every time. No one did a belly flop, which is a good thing as it would almost certainly left the young man headless. Bravo to the jumpers.
