Over the past two days i have been rock climbing with Henry Castle in Shakehole Bay, Pembroke. We went in there to have a go a line that we had spotted when walking back from climbing a few months earlier. The route is a raising traverse from right to left going over the huge cave on the right hand side of the cliff and it turns out its amazing climbing and quite an adventure. The climbing is very pumpy on the 2nd and slightly on the 3rd pitch. The rock is generally good and the gear is top notch allowing you to push the throttle and turn up the burn. We think the route is E2/3 5b,5c,5b,5b and it would be cool to get others on it and see what they think, worth 2 stars.
Check out some photo’s from the route.
