Certain Surprise at Split Rock Quarry

Today we all headed down to Split Rock Quarry to check out some three star quality E3 and E5 climbing with an added bonus of setting up a high line for slack lining on. Awesome.  Three of us headed down for climbing and the rest high-lining (slack lining but high up).  We all lead the classic of the crag ‘Certain Surprise E3 5c which is steep with good gear and generally good holds.  After this pumpy warm up we went on to play on another classic ‘Tricky Dicky’ E5 6a.  This really is a great route we only had a mess-around on a bottom rope but will go back and lead is it pure quality from bottom to top with hands-off rests.
